June 15, 2016, China Water Environment Group and HDR, a world famous architectural,
engineering, and consulting firm based in the US signed a strategic
cooperation framework agreement in Shanghai. Hou Feng, CEO of China Water
Environment, George Little, chairman and CEO of HDR, and executives from both companies
attended the signing ceremony. Kong Hainan, professor of Shanghai
Jiaotong University, HIDEO CHO, general manager of Nishihara Environment Engineering (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
and other guests were
invited to witness the signing ceremony. The strategic cooperation framework
agreement consolidated and strengthened the partnership between CWEG and HDR in
watershed environment management, low-impact development and sponge city
construction, and took both sides’ technical expertise and management
in the above fields to a higher level.

It was the
first cooperation between China Water Environment and HDR’s engineering and environmental
protection sector, said George Little, chairman and CEO of HDR. The next year would mark HDR’s centenary,
and HDR is committed to establishing a lifelong partnership with clients to secure itself a world-renowned, century-old evergreen enterprise.
HDR would be willing to maintain a long-term, friendly partnership with China
Feng, CEO of China Water Environment, spoke highly of HDR’s management
philosophy. The signing was not simply a "marriage",
but expressed China Water Environment’s desire to become a lifelong
partner of HDR, he pointed out. China Water Environment would draw on HDR’s
advanced management philosophy and plan to develop itself into a century-long
